UGA's 323-acre garden on South Milledge, free to visit, with themed display gardens, five miles of trails, a tropical conservatory and the wonderful Alice H. Richards Children's Garden. Birthday parties include a three-hour rental of the children's classroom plus a one-hour guided program of your choice — Animal Encounters with the garden's ambassador snake, tarantula and box turtle; Critter Catchin' in the woodland stream; or a Forest Treasure Hunt through the woods. Book at least two weeks ahead.
