A free, city-run zoo inside Memorial Park that houses more than 35 non-releasable native Georgia animals — black bears, river otters, beavers, foxes, alligators, owls and eagles — in natural-habitat exhibits. Two-hour weekend birthday parties include a private party room with tables and chairs, an educational program featuring three ambassador animals (snake optional), and a personalized zoo map for the birthday child. No balloons and no outside animals allowed.
