135-acre park holding the World of Wonder Playground, the largest play area in the county system, with 10 slides including a three-story slide tower and accessible swings. Also on site: the Skate Park of Athens, a 14,000-square-foot series of bowls and ramps designed by Tony Hawk; the Wiggley Field Dog Park; lighted multi-use and baseball fields; pickleball and tennis courts; and paved and natural-surface walking trails. Playground and dog park parking is at 325 Whit Davis Road; skate park parking is at 4440 Lexington Rd.
