A resource for Athens area families — since 1998
197-acre county park with outdoor walking trails, a roughly 2-mile paved walking path, eight lighted tennis courts, four softball diamonds, three multipurpose fields, four soccer fields, six covered picnic tables, a Bark Park, and the Oconee Veterans Memorial. The 34,000-square-foot Community Center houses an indoor walking track, fitness area, gymnasium and meeting rooms.
Hours: Park 5 AM-11 PM (back area closes at sunset); Community Center Mon-Fri 8 AM-8 PM, Sat 8 AM-6 PM, Sun 12-6 PM
