Athens' most beloved Halloween tradition, in its 18th year: a costumed parade of creatures and spectacle through downtown, free and open to all ages. Note the 8 p.m. start — younger kids do better watching the parade and heading home before the street party. There are designated 21-and-up drinking zones in the festival area, so pick your viewing spot accordingly.
